Emergency Procedures

Fire safety & room security

In case of emergency, please do not panic. Contact the front office on 100 or 199. In the unlikely event that the premises must be evacuated, please follow this procedure for your own safety.

Fire & Evacuation

  • Know your nearest exit

    Memorise the location of the emergency exits nearest to your room. A detailed map of your location is behind your room door, and fire exits are marked by green signs in all corridors.

  • Leave your belongings

    Do not endanger yourself by collecting personal belongings. Never use the elevators.

  • If you are trapped

    Use wet towels to mask against smoke. Get down low and crawl to the nearest exit.

  • If you discover a fire

    Dial 100 / 199

    Call reception immediately on 100 or 199 and give your name and room number.

  • Assembly area

    Proceed to the hotel car park, to the area marked MUSTER POINT. Do not attempt to re-enter the building.

Room Security

  • Door locks

    For additional security, use the deadbolt on your door upon entering — it prevents the door being opened with a regular room key. As an extra precaution, please secure the safety latch.

  • Admittance

    Do not admit anyone to your room without first confirming their identity. If in doubt, please contact the front desk.

  • Keys

    Please safeguard your key and leave it with the front desk on departure. Do not leave your key in your room or in the door, and do not give your key to others.
